On Friday, April 27th 2018, we organized our Annual Crossroads Community Festival. The festival included Turkish cuisine, Turkish Tea and Coffee, Baklava, Calligraphy, Ebru-Water Marbling, Handcrafts. Also volunteers from Niagara Foundation, Islamic Society of Indiana and Embrace Relief gave information about their organizations to the visitors. Although it was not advertised heavily, the attendance was very strong. While the food was free, donations were accepted. Sister Fatime Ceri had a short presentation about the purpose and what the festival included. We definitely are looking forward to the next festival in a larger space to accommodate more people.
